EGBERT FARTHING is the new boy, appearing to join the Wordsworth Academy in the last week of term. This does strike Robbie and Dylan as being a little odd. But more concerning is the boy’s enormous size. Both agree he could be a potential target for bullying and think they should keep an eye out.
Egbert soon becomes their friend at school and at Robbie’s home. Of course there is the inevitable hilarious fantasy with William and Scruffy, and this is where Egbert’s true friendship and generosity come through.
This series should entertain boys and girls around the 10-15 age group.
